Basic Philosophy

DISCO is committed to developing products with as minimal an impact on the environment as possible throughout the product lifecycle. We take the environment into account in an integrated manner - from procurement to disposal - and work to improve energy efficiency and reduce or replace hazardous substances.

Green Product Guidelines

Green Product Guidelines were laid out in March 2004 to guide design and development that reduces environmental impact throughout a product's lifecycle.
The guidelines put emphasis on energy conservation, the concept of reduction, reuse and recycling, and ease of product disposal following use.

The Product Life Cycle and DISCO Initiatives

Based on the Green Product Guidelines, we carry out a variety of environmental measures for each stage of the product lifecycle.
