SUPPLIER CONTINUOUS QUALITY IMPROVEMENT AWARD |

TOKYO, Japan, March 17, 2008 - DISCO Corporation was named a recipient of Intel Corporation's prestigious 2007 Supplier Continuous Quality Improvement (SCQI) award. The award is Intel's highest honor for its suppliers, recognizing them for outstanding commitment to quality and performance for providing products and services deemed essential to Intel's success. The company is recognized for its efforts supplying Intel with precision singulation, wafer saws, polishers and grinding equipment. DISCO Corporation and 12 other SCQI award winners will be honored at a celebration in Burlingame, California on March 18.
"DISCO is honored to receive this prestigious award for the eighth consecutive year. Intel's SCQI Award is truly a benchmark measurement of supplier performance. We have found that the value of the collaborative relationship with Intel even exceeds the commercial benefits that may be realized. The corporate-wide discipline that is required for DISCO to align with Intel performance priorities stimulates continuous improvement of DISCO's global organization and operations," said Hitoshi Mizorogi, president and CEO of DISCO Corporation.
"DISCO Corporation provides Intel advanced application engineering, training, and field support services for cutting, grinding and polishing equipment and services. DISCO's unsurpassed focus on quality, technology and alignment to Intel priorities has allowed the company to achieve Intel's highest quality award. DISCO continues to be an important collaborator in the development and deployment of semiconductor manufacturing solutions," said Ron Rinfret, director of Assembly Capital Equipment Development, Intel Corporation.
The SCQI awards are part of Intel's Supplier Continuous Quality Improvement process, which encourages Intel's key suppliers to strive for excellence and continuous improvement. To qualify for SCQI status, suppliers must score at least 95 percent on a report card that assesses performance and ability to meet cost, quality, availability, delivery, technology and responsiveness goals.
Additional information about the SCQI program is available at http://supplier.intel.com/quality.
Intel will also recognize SCQI award winners with an advertisement in the U.S., Europe and Asia editions of The Wall Street Journal on March 18, 2008.
