DISCO Ranked No. 1 in the 2026 “100 Best Workplaces in Japan” Ranking

DISCO CORPORATION (Headquarters: Ota-ku, Tokyo; President: Kazuma Sekiya), a semiconductor processing equipment manufacturer, was ranked No. 1 in the 2026 “100 Best Workplaces in Japan” ranking released by the Great Place to Work® Institute Japan (GPTW* Japan).

This ranking is based on the results of a survey conducted among 683 companies and recognizes the top 100 organizations with the highest levels of workplace satisfaction. DISCO has been included in this ranking for 18 consecutive years, and this year, we have been ranked No. 1 for the first time.

Although GPTW Japan has not disclosed the detailed reasons behind this result, DISCO continues to pursue initiatives aimed at eliminating factors that may demotivate employees, based on our belief that true customer satisfaction cannot be achieved without employee satisfaction. For example, DISCO has adopted a performance-based bonus system to prevent situations in which profits are not shared with employees despite strong business performance. In addition, DISCO has introduced measures to eliminate unwanted assignments, transfers, and excessive overtime through our unique Will accounting system. We believe that these ongoing initiatives have been highly recognized in this evaluation.

Going forward, we will continue to create an environment in which employees can perform at their best, and we will strive to remain a company that consistently delivers value to all stakeholders.
