As announced in our First Notice dated August 3, 2026, information has been circulating on certain social media and other platforms claiming that the Japanese government implemented new export controls on semiconductor manufacturing equipment effective August 1, 2026, and that DISCO products are subject to such controls. DISCO has made inquiries with the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and has confirmed that no such controls have been promulgated or implemented. The information currently being circulated is therefore false.

DISCO will continue to supply products and provide services to its customers in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, as it always has.
